Buckhill’s first Global Summit, held at the Hotel International in Zagreb, Croatia, was a resounding success! Over 60 employees, speakers and guests representing over 20 nationalities from more than 15 countries, gathered for two days of insightful discussions, collaborative activities, and unforgettable experiences.

Internal talks delved into Buckhill's impressive achievements over the past year, focusing on client development, financial growth, and successful marketing efforts. Our rebranding journey and its bold decision to fully embrace a global workforce were also key topics of discussion, highlighting our commitment to evolution. 

Embracing Technological Advancements:

External talks and demos showcased cutting-edge tools that Buckhill is leveraging to stay ahead of the curve, including a deep dive into GitHub Copilot. A dynamic panel discussion on the AI revolution brought together internal and external experts to share their insights on this transformative technology and its impact on the industry. 

Strengthening Bonds:

Team-building games, carefully centered around our core values and delivery processes, provided valuable opportunities for colleagues to connect on a deeper level, fostering connection and creating lasting memories. These activities were a great way for everyone to have some fun and build stronger relationship. 

Looking Ahead:

Buckhill's ambitious vision for 2025, and the concrete steps being taken to realise it, generated a wave of excitement for the future. The announcement of the London office's move to the Lloyd's market was met with enthusiasm, further solidifying our commitment to growth and expansion. 

Creating Lasting Memories:

To ensure attendees have tangible reminders of the Summit; photo shoots, goodie bags brimming with company swag, and a 360 photo booth were available throughout the event. These provided plenty of opportunities for attendees to capture and cherish the memories made. 

Beyond the Summit: 

The fun didn't stop when the official agenda concluded! A range of post-summit activities, including the B2Run 5km marathon, a billiards tournament, laser tag, an escape room challenge, go-karting, and a celebratory awards ceremony and dinner, extended the networking and camaraderie. These events fostered lasting memories among colleagues who finally had the chance to connect in person.
