Buckhill successfully consolidated three separate legacy systems into a single, unified platform powered by C2MS, providing a seamless API layer for the AEGIS Opal Underwriting portal. Following the migration, we have developed additional products across multiple geographic regions. What once took over three days to quote can now be completed and bound in just minutes. More recently, we've enhanced the platform with Claims functionality and integrated key partners for data enrichment and marketing support.

In partnership with Jersey Mutual Insurance, Buckhill deployed the C2MS system to replace a legacy, custom-built solution. Following a complex data migration spanning over 6 years of policies, claims, settlements, payments, and documents, the modernisation automated many manual processes and integrated JMI’s specific business needs. A new suite of self-managed reporting tools ensured compliance with the latest Lloyd’s standards. The solution seamlessly combined innovative technology with Jersey’s traditional business practices, aligning with local culture and customer expectations. This robust platform now supports JMI's growth, enabling adaptation to changing demographics and future integration with advanced technologies such as machine learning to enhance the quote experience.

Buckhill partnered with Real Financial Services to implement the C2MS system, facilitating the company's rapid growth from start-up to a £10 million revenue business, culminating in a successful exit. C2MS enabled the development of three product lines, integrated with all leading UK aggregators, and launched self-service quote and bind portals. With renewal rates above 85% and full integration with various payment providers, the solution streamlined operations and supported Real Financial Services in achieving a strong market position. Following the exit, Buckhill now continues to partner with the new owners.

Digitisation of Niche Household Insurance Products
Buckhill collaborated with Orwell Insurance to implement the C2MS system, transforming their operations by automating quote and bind processes for niche household insurance products tailored to a specific audience that struggles to find coverage elsewhere. This solution maintained low claim loss ratios while automating most administrative tasks within C2MS. Additionally, Buckhill developed a broker portal to efficiently distribute these specialised products.
Further development is underway to integrate advanced machine learning and AI to enhance the customer journey, along with the creation of a direct-to-consumer quote and bind platform.
